At Cordell’s Automotive Service & Tire, our warranty is as simple and straightforward as we can make it. We take pride in the high-quality services that we provide. In fact, that's why we offer an industry leading 3-year/36,000-mile warranty because we’re that confident in the precision of our work.


Our standard warranty policy on any mechanical repair is 3 years from the date of install or 36,000 miles from the installed mileage on your invoice. Vehicles used for commercial purposes come with a 1 year, 12,000 mile warranty that is measured in the same standard. For all used parts, we offer a 30 day part only warranty unless otherwise noted.


You must service your vehicle at any Cordell’s Automotive Service & Tire location for any service twice per year for the warranty to remain valid. This allows our technicians the opportunity to ensure that your vehicle is in the best working order and is safe.


If you have an issue that you feel may be a related warrantable issue, Cordell’s Automotive Service & Tire will need to determine the failure and apply for warranty assistance. We do not have the ability to file for warranty assistance if you choose to have the vehicle repaired elsewhere and then bring in an invoice for reimbursement. This action will negate your warranty agreement with Cordell’s Automotive Service & Tire and our suppliers.


In the event of a vehicle failure, contact Cordell’s Automotive Service & Tire. You must return to Cordell’s Automotive Service & Tire for any repair for any type of warranty to be considered. If another repair facility performs a repair in connection with our area of repair, warranty can be denied.


All part failure warranties are financially covered by the manufacturer/distributor of the installed part. All rules and regulations pertaining to a warranty repair must be adhered to by their rules in order for any coverage to apply.


Any abuse, neglect or tampering with a certified repair will negate your warranty. If your vehicle is not operating properly, it is your responsibility to get the vehicle shut down and returned to Cordell’s Automotive Service & Tire to avoid any additional damage that may be caused by a failure. Your warranty may cover the part and the labor to replace the part but not any additional damage caused by running in a failure situation.


Any performance modified vehicles will not be provided with any warranty due to the nature of the upgrades causing excessive, extreme, and accelerated wear.


As the owner of the vehicle, you may be required to be responsible for any testing that may be needed to determine the cause of any failure. In many cases, if the failure can be deemed a covered parts warranty failure, the manufacturer and/or the distributor may cover the cost of the testing accrued.


If you have a new part installed and it fails as a result of a defect in the part itself or the workmanship in which it was installed, Cordell’s Automotive Service & Tire will acquire a replacement part and install it at no labor cost up to the amount that was charged for the original install.


In the event that the part failure is caused due to another issue that affects this repair, you will be required to make the proper and necessary repair in order to prevent reoccurrence and warranty coverage.


If a part is replaced under warranty, the remaining time period left in that repair will continue from the date/miles(whichever comes 1st) that the part was originally installed. If the part fails a second time, you may be required to be responsible for additional testing to determine the cause of the repeated failure.



The warranty is valid for the original purchaser of the service only. Warranty is non-transferable.


Any decline in recommended and or required repairs, can/will result in forfeit of any warranty if it directly affects the repair.


In any event of warranty, advisors of Cordell's Automotive Service & Tire will work as your advocates to claim warranties.


WHERE YOU CAN OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE: If you are less than 25 miles away from the original repairing NAPA Auto Care Dealer location, you must return your vehicle to the NAPA Auto Care Dealer location where the warranted service was performed and present your copy of the repair order to the Dealer.


If your vehicle is inoperable, and you are more than 25 miles away from the original repairing NAPA Auto Care Dealer location, you may be eligible for certain towing and/or rental car benefits as determined by the Administrator. If you are not aware of a participating NAPA Auto Care Dealer location in your area, then you must call the Administrator, at (800) 452-NAPA, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday (Eastern Time), excluding holidays. The Administrator will direct you to the nearest participating NAPA Auto Care Dealer location. If there are no NAPA Auto Care Dealer locations in your area, the administrator will direct you to a non-NAPA Auto Care Dealer location.


WHAT YOU MUST DO TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE You must keep a copy of the repair order and present it when seeking service under this warranty. If warranty work is performed, you must temporarily surrender possession of the repair order. If there are no participating locations in your area, you must obtain authorization from the Warranty Administrator prior to any warranty repair work by calling (800) 452-NAPA. If the non-participating Repair Facility location will not accept payment from the Administrator, you must pay for the warranty service and submit a legible copy of your original repair order and warranty service repair order to the Administrator for consideration for reimbursement under this warranty.
